16 September 2025(1 event) Full day As part of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, PPE invites you to a workshop to reflect and share on the role of families in this collective journey. Honoring history, building the future together is a workshop designed to remind us of the importance of learning more about the cultures and realities of aboriginal peoples, particularly in the school environment, in order to offer our children an inclusive and respectful education. We are privileged to welcome Cynthia Savard, a mother of Algonquin descent living in Ottawa. A committed parent within her community and PPE, Cynthia actively contributes to creating spaces for inclusion, dialogue and the valorization of aboriginal parental knowledge. She will share her experience as a mother and active community member, and invite us to reflect together on the role each parent can play in accompanying children on the road to reconciliation. Parents, partners and caregivers: you're all invited to join forces to build practical solutions rooted in families' experiences and aspirations.
