The Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales is located in northwestern Ontario and serves more than 800 students in 10 schools, including 9 elementary schools and one secondary school. Substitute

Are you interested in interacting with young people and having a good time with them? The CSDCAB is looking for responsible, positive, dynamic, patient, flexible people who enjoy working with children as a substitute teacher. 

Register now!

As a substitute teacher, you are filling in for the incumbent on an occasional basis. For example, a teacher will have left a lesson plan for the day they are away. As a support person, you assist the teacher in the classroom, babysit at lunch, organize activities for the children, etc.

 

For each school we are looking for occasional replacements for teachers, support staff, lunchroom attendants, janitors, secretaries.

 

The school board offers a respectful and rewarding work environment with a flexible schedule depending on your availability. We have occasional substitute teaching needs. You don't need a Bachelor's degree in education either!
