The Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales is proud to announce the appointment of Mrs. Mireille Major-Levesque as Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer.
Associated Education Directorate since October 2021, Mrs. Major-Levesque has the qualifications and qualities of a strategic leader and manager. Prior to assuming the position of Superintendent of Education in 2016, she worked for over 16 years at Val-des-Bois Catholic School in Marathon as a teacher and principal.
"We thank Ms. Major-Levesque for her efforts and hard work in the transition to the position of Director of Education," said Sylvie Payeur, Board Chair. "She will represent the interests of our communities and our students well and with distinction."
"I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to benefit from Lucie Allaire's guidance and expertise during this year of transition," said Major-Levesque. "I am proud to continue to promote and grow the Northern Lights CSDC."
Ms. Major-Levesque will assume the duties of Director of Education and Secretary-Treasurer effective July 1, 2022.
