This week, it's time to code!

From December 9-15 all of our schools are encouraged to participate in this large-scale event as part of Computer Science Education Week!

Computers are everywhere and they are changing every industry all around our planet. However, less than half of all schools teach computer science. We are changing this!

More than 100 million students have already experienced One Hour of Code, and even leaders like Barack Obama and our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have written their first lines of code to support the campaign.

An Hour of Code is a worldwide movement that reaches tens of millions of students in over 180 countries. Accessible to students as young as 4 years old, it is a fun opportunity to discover computer science and to demystify programming. Students participate in classroom activities, but you can also do it at home with tutorials developed online.

Through the use of computer science, students learn problem-solving, logical and creative skills. By starting early, they will have the foundation to succeed in any career in the 21st century.
