ONTARIO - To celebrate its 25the anniversary, L'École catholique organized the Défi Sourires: a highly original contest that saw over 3,600 creative smiles sparkle in its schools over the past few weeks! This great participation testifies to the joy, excitement and sense of well-being present in over 300 schools in Ontario's eight French-language Catholic school boards.
"The Aurores boréales CSDC, along with the seven other French-language Catholic school boards in Ontario and the Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques (AFOCSC), is delighted with the participation of its school community. Our students have once again demonstrated their boundless creativity, an essential skill for success. We encourage our school communities and the general public to recognize this creativity by voting for their favorite creations," says Director of Education Mireille Major-Levesque.
It's time to vote!
Students, school staff and the general public are now invited to visit the L'École catholique website to vote for their favorite "smile" among the 12 finalists from their school board. It will be possible to vote once a day, for one "smile" per school board, until May 7.
Thanks to school community votes, three classes from each school board will win a prize of up to 300 $ to treat themselves to a health and wellness activity or cover the expenses associated with a field trip. Spread the word to your friends, family and social networks!
