Description (learning methods, topics covered) :

  • Morning: Frequency modulation system
During this presentation, led by the Consortium's deafness consultants from the Centre Jules-Léger, staff members will discover the many benefits that the universal use of an FM system can bring to a classroom, not only for the students, but also for themselves.
  • Morning: "Quand l'intelligence s'amuse": Using students' uniqueness as an engine for learning
The heterogeneity of student groups is often identified as a challenge to achieving learning targets and developing learners' skills. What if, instead of seeing it as a hindrance, we used it as a lever, a driving force? This conference will take you on an exploration of the creative potential of diversity, from the perspective of universal design for learning. Staff will be encouraged to reflect on the challenges facing their own environment, and to identify solutions that are truly applicable, all in a creative, collaborative and innovative exercise.
  • Afternoon: Exploring high-impact practices for all materials!
In this training, staff will have the opportunity to discover how to integrate high-impact teaching strategies and the 6Cs into all subjects, for dynamic, deep learning. We'll share practical tools to engage every student and enrich your daily pedagogy.

*Please note that Literacy and Implementing a literacy and STEM framework program will be discussed on 1er November and November 8 according to the respective regional calendars.
