The Ministry has mandated Parents as Partners in Education (PPE) to organize virtual sessions for parents French-language school boards in Ontario.

These sessions will enable parents to :

  • Enable parents to express their views, share their experiences and identify the challenges their children face in learning and using French.
  • Identify the measures, resources and support that parents consider necessary to strengthen their children's language skills, academic success and sense of identity.
  • Reflect on the role that parents and the Francophone community wish to play in the linguistic, cultural and identity development of students, and on ways to support their involvement.
  • Gather ideas and priorities to ensure the vitality of French-language education in Ontario over the medium and long term, to feed the ministry's thinking in renewing the PAL.

Two new opportunities for parents this week:

  • wednesday, october 8, 2025 Session for non-Francophone parents in Northern Ontario;
  • thursday, october 9, 2025 Session for CSDCAB and Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord parents.
