The workshop will clarify professional responsibilities and equip staff to intervene appropriately and safely.
Integrating Appendix B of the Framework Program into literacy planning (1re à 8e year)
Appendix B of the Framework Curriculum is an extensive and detailed document that sets out the progression of language learning from grade 1 to grade 8.re at 8e grade. This training will give school staff a chance to consider how these concepts can be integrated into literacy planning. The main objective will be to demonstrate that the elements of Appendix B can be incorporated naturally into all areas of literacy.
4 workshop choices
In addition to offering activities focusing on the linguistic elements of the text, La LIE offers avenues for exploring the themes addressed in the texts in greater depth. This workshop will also include a learning and planning session, based on a backward planning approach aligned with curriculum expectations. The aim is to make interactive reading a sustainable, relevant and transferable practice, both in the classroom and beyond.
This workshop will present resources related to the social studies curricula of the 1re to 6e year and history in 7e and 8e grade. There will also be examples of easily adaptable lesson plans and a variety of teaching resources.
Drawing on the fundamental principles of human rights, equity and inclusive education, this workshop offers an interactive session inviting school staff to reflect collectively on creating discrimination-free learning environments. Participants will explore reflective practices that promote the inclusion of all diversities. Through discussions, collaborative activities and resource sharing, this session aims to build staff capacity to create school environments where everyone feels recognized, respected and valued.
This interactive workshop enables health and physical education teachers to discover how to effectively integrate the Kids in the know in their teaching, from 1re at 8e grade. The program is based on 7 essential safety rules and 4 risk situations, enabling students to develop protective reflexes throughout their school career. Through a common language and practical activities, teachers and support staff will learn to reinforce students' personal safety skills, while promoting their autonomy and well-being.
Cognitive bias
The conference provides an introduction to cognitive biases, the mental shortcuts that influence our everyday judgments and decisions. Using concrete examples, the aim is to gain a better understanding of their effects in an educational context, and to explore ways of mitigating them, from a benevolent perspective.
