Under Regulation 322/03, every person employed by a school board must provide a criminal history record issued within the last six months before taking office.
The hourly rate is between 21.91 $ and 26.31 $ according to the salary scale of the current collective agreement. Priority will be given to members of the SEIU union unit.

- good knowledge of the computerized cataloguing system
- good knowledge of student reading development and the book grading system (GB+ and DRA)
- advanced knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written
- advanced computer and technology skills (word processing, database, website posting, photo uploading, photo shooting)
- basic knowledge of WHMIS
- two-year college diploma in library science or equivalent
- two years' experience as a library technician or in a related field
