Permanent full-time assignment (1.00).
Under the direction of the school principal and in collaboration with the homeroom teacher, the individual will:
- Assist the teacher in the smooth operation of the classroom by organizing and preparing learning materials and equipment as required
- help the student to acquire the required academic learning according to the program prepared by the teacher
- advanced computer skills (word processing)
- advanced knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written
- good interpersonal relationships
- basic knowledge of WHMIS
- two-year college diploma in a relevant field such as early childhood education
- one year experience in the field
Under Regulation 322/03, every person employed by a school board must provide a criminal history record issued within the last six months before taking office.
The hourly rate is between 25.91 $ and 30.31 $ according to the salary scale in the current collective agreement. Priority will be given to members of the SEIU union unit.
