Proposed by Parents Partners in Education.
Let's talk about racism in school: understanding, supporting, acting together

Racism at school is a difficult reality, but no parent should have to face it alone. How can you support your child? How can you communicate with the school? And above all, how can you act in a constructive and caring way?

We will have the privilege of welcoming:

Katia Café-Fébrissy – Parent
She will share her testimony and her experiences in order to shed light on the realities that some families may face.

Marie-Thérèse Awitor – Educational Advisor for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
She will offer concrete tools and practical strategies for supporting your child, collaborating with the school, and promoting a more inclusive school environment.

Why participate?

This workshop aims to:

  • Breaking isolation in the face of racism
  • Ask your questions in a secure environment
  • Leave with concrete, actionable advice
  • Share experiences and explore solutions tailored to your circumstances.

Who is it for?
All parents—whether you have experienced these situations yourself or simply want to better understand and support your children.
A healthy and inclusive school environment begins with a united, informed, and engaged parent community.
