This interactive workshop is designed to be a place for exchange and sharing. Parents and guardians are invited to share their experiences, thoughts and ideas, in a friendly and caring atmosphere. This parents' evening will be hosted by Bertrand Ndeffo Bertrand's expertise has led him to collaborate with the OECD as part of the Programme for International Student Assessment, with EQAO as a member of the OSSLT Content and Sensitivity Committee, with the Ontario College of Teachers' Pour Parler Profession magazine, and with La Cité Collégiale as a content expert and public relations teacher. As a parent, Bertrand was a member of his children's school councils for ten years, including two years as president, and a member of the Parents Partenaires en Éducation (PPE) Board of Directors. In 2021, PPE awarded him the title of "Engaged and Influential Parent" and presented him with a certificate of recognition for his contribution to the project on welcoming and integrating immigrant families into Ontario's French-language schools. Bertrand is also the PPE author of Mise en contexte des conseils scolaires francophones ontariens. A guide for parents and guardians. |
