This autumn 2025nOur students excelled in all areas.offering a sports season exceptional marked by outstanding performances and exemplary team spirit on the part of our athletes. 

The team of volleyball The junior team dominated the local league, remaining undefeated until the semifinals. The future looks bright thanks to players like Simon D., who has remarkable talent, and Quinn, a quiet leader at 10.e year, known for his consistency and maturity.

On the senior team side, the players had a memorable season, reaching the SSSAA “A” Championship Final”, where they narrowly lost in four sets to Hammarskjold School and were crowned SSSAA champions in the “A” category. Captain Andreh A. stood out for his exemplary leadership, and Cole B., finishing his 12the year, was praised for his constant positivity and unwavering support for his teammates.

In cross-country, runners Cedar C., Oskar B., and Jack P.. distinguished themselves by ranking in the top 10 in every race.

In elementary school, Carter C. ranked among the top three in every event, while Maya M. distinguished herself as best female runner.

At the same time, the basketball brought excitement to our gyms with the creation of a new exhibition team featuring star players such as Brielle D. and Khanisha K.

Team spirit and remarkable energy enabled our young people to shine in soccer elementary, with excellent performances by Roberto P. B., Déliel A., and Sofia S. in 7e year.

Thanks to the partnership with St. Ignatius, Thirteen players from ESC La Vérendrye won their final at the soccer.

The start of the next season is approaching

The programs of volleyball at primary and junior level, from basketball senior and junior boys, from cross-country skiing and women's hockey will soon resume, offering student athletes the opportunity to continue developing their skills, strengthen their team spirit, and proudly represent La Vérendrye Catholic High School.

Finally, the season of struggle will begin as part of the twinning agreement with St. Ignatius.Eight athletes from La Vérendrye will participate under the supervision of Caleb Blain, a former student and athlete OFSAA in the fight, who will put his experience at the service of the new generation.
