At Northern Lights CSDC, we recognize that all children should have educational programs that meet their needs.
In keeping with its mission and vision, the Council strives for the full inclusion of students with special needs as stipulated in Regulation 181/98. An Individual Education Plan (IEP) may be proposed to meet the needs of these students. The purpose of the IEP is to assist the student who requires appropriate interventions to progress in the development of skills leading to success.

Free tutoring service
Free tutoring sessions, subsidized by the Ontario government, are available to students in grades 1 to 12 thanks to a partnership with Tutorax. The service is available 7 days a week in all subjects.
The tutoring service will provide students with personalized support to help them consolidate their learning, develop study strategies, prepare for exams or simply support them with their homework.
To register your child, simply complete the Tutorax registration form.
Once the registration form has been submitted, you will receive a reply from a consultant within 24 hours to finalize the registration process. He or she will take great care to identify your child's difficulties and match him or her with the most qualified tutor for his or her specific needs.
