Permanent full-time assignment (1.00), in a 12-month non-unionized position.

 

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Human Resources Department, the incumbent plays a key role in the integrated management of the workplace support program, including disability support, attendance and employee well-being. The incumbent acts as a strategic resource for managers, actively contributing to the implementation and monitoring of programs promoting a healthy, safe and caring workplace.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the full implementation and management of the workplace support program, including :
    • Disability : Manage disability files, including WSIB claims as well as short- and long-term disability leaves.
    • Attendance Implement and monitor the attendance support program, including analysis of absence trends, support for managers in proactively managing frequent or recurring absences, and implementation of measures to promote a successful return to work.
    • Wellness : Develop, coordinate and promote initiatives to enhance employee well-being
  • Act as a strategic resource for all occupational health and safety issues, in collaboration with the departments concerned
  • Advise and support managers in the effective management of situations related to attendance, disability, well-being and occupational health and safety.
  • Ensures compliance with collective agreements, terms and conditions of employment, policies and administrative directives relating to leave, and performs the required administrative follow-up.
  • Manage leave in internal systems
  • Perform any other related tasks

Job Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree in human resources or related field
  • Experience in managing complex disability and attendance files
  • In-depth knowledge of WSIB, disability insurance, attendance, mental health programs and related legislation
  • Experience in managing relations with various stakeholders (management teams, staff members, unions, insurers and regulatory bodies)
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French and English

 

Under Regulation 322/03, every person employed by a school board must provide a criminal history record before taking office.

 

Remuneration in accordance with the conditions of employment for non-unionized staff in force, whose annual salary ranges from 60,960.51 $ to 74,717.83 $.
