Description (learning methods, topics covered) :
CONSTRUCTION IDENTITAIRE
This presentation invites staff to explore their linguistic and cultural identity in relation to the French-speaking world. Based on a video about the reality of students at La Vérendrye Catholic High School, they will explore what it means to be «proud» and their sense of belonging. The activity includes individual reflection, group discussion, and clarification of key concepts. This identity-building activity can be revisited with students at a later date.
ÉDUCATION SPÉCIALISÉE 101
Teaching and support staff will have the opportunity to review the main principles of special education, with a particular focus on the distinctions between accommodations, different expectations, and modifications.
