As a sickly child I learned our stories at the feet of my Grandmother Rose, she was wise in the ways and traditions of our people and like all elders generous with her time and attention. I grew up and did many things that had to do with sharing words; teaching, acting but it was when I started sharing our traditional stories, first with my sons and then for others that I really started to enjoy my life on stage and in the classroom.
