At the Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales (CSDCAB) meeting held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, trustees welcomed a new Thunder Bay area trustee to their ranks.
The new trustee, Ms. Vivianne McCullough, fills the seat left vacant by the departure of Mr. Donald Pelletier.
Ms. McCullough's previous professional experience demonstrates her in-depth knowledge of the Board, its particularities, and its territory. A native of Longlac, an alumna of École Notre-Dame-de-Fatima and having worked at schools in Dryden and Ignace, she understands the importance of representing all schools, regardless of size. McCullough is familiar with the various issues faced by the Board.
“I thank the trustees for their confidence in giving me the mandate to represent the taxpayers of the Thunder Bay region. I look forward to representing Thunder Bay families and serving their interests, as well as those of our students,” said the new trustee.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome Ms. McCullough to the Board table. There is no doubt that we will benefit greatly from her community involvement and dedication,” said Trustee Claudette Gleeson, Chair of the Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales.
